STORE CLOSING

Verde Valley Music will be closing the 2nd week of August.   Ted and Susie are retiring.

We have strived to provide a quality lesson program, with the help of some excellent teachers,

Emily Meyer, Katherine LaTorraca, Lee Zimmer, Becky Bennett, Brittany Smith, Jonathan Levingston, to name a few, over the last 17 years.  We want to thank some really good friends, and employees that helped get the business off the ground, Ken Mikell is top of the list.

A huge Thank You to the community that has shopped in our store to keep us afloat.  You helped support our music lesson program.  You know who you are, and we appreciate you!

This store has been a dream come true for Ted.  He even earned a small business award working with SBDC Center Manager, A. Roy Horn.  The 2010 Success Award from the Arizona Small Business Development Center Network (AzSBDC) is one of Arizona’s most coveted honors for new, small businesses.

We have enjoyed watching the musical growth in many students.  Since 2006 Verde Valley Music has had 1250 students, 28,000 lessons, and some memorable recitals that took place twice a year.

Most importantly, a special thank you goes out to a very special person.  Barbara Swartwout has been supportive in every way possible, both personally, and professionally.  Couldn’t have done it without you.  Love you!
